Our mission is to ignite passions and advocate for outdoor adventure lifestyles among the wild landscapes of the midwest and beyond. We aim to screen films that will inspire, unite and energize our inner wild selves.

We are thrilled to announce the 2019-2020 season of the #AdventureMN Film Fest was a smashing success, and we are proud to report the following stats:

16 filmmakers from Minnesota, plus 2 from Michigan and 1 from Wisconsin, 0 from beyond the Midwest

17 films about adventure and outdoors in Minnesota that included topics such as canoeing, dog sledding, mountain biking, fly fishing, stand up paddle boarding, gravel bike racing, surfing, family adventure, local Native American culture, the Driftless Region, women in adventure and more.

We'd like to give a HUGE thanks to Lakes and Legends Brewing for providing such a fantastic venue for us to gather and celebrate the Midwestern outdoors.

WHAT'S NEXT?
​
At this time there are no plans for another season. We are resting up, focusing on a few other projects and waiting for more great films to be made. However, that's not to say another season won't happen. If you're an adventure filmmaker from Minnesota or focusing on a film based in Minnesota, be sure to contact us to see if your project might be a good fit for future screenings.

RULES AND TERMS to SUBMIT YOUR FILM
All films need to relate to outdoor adventure and have been completed in 2016 or later and should be under 30 minutes in length. Shorter films are encouraged!
We have two categories for submissions:
AdventureMN – for films by Minnesota filmmakers or based in Minnesota
Midwest and Beyond – for all adventure films not related to Minnesota

NOTE: Overall, special consideration will be given to filmmakers and topics from the following states: Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
