The Arrowhead Traverse – Produced by We Found Adventure and directed by Kristopher and Ruth Lencowski – Filmmakers in attendance

23 min + Q&A

Maura and Bobby Marko are impassioned outdoor explorers. After becoming parents they knew that passing on a love and respect for the wilderness would be a major priority for their family. The family attempted a bold traverse of the Arrowhead of Minnesota traveling from the Mississippi River to Lake Superior by bicycle, canoe, and foot; all with their 3-year-old son and 9-month-old daughter along for the adventure.

Fall Superior Races by Fresh Tracks Media – Filmmakers in attendance

10 min + Q&A

Wynn Davis once said that running the Superior 100 is like trying to solve a puzzle with your feet for two days straight. This video pays tribute to one of the oldest 100 milers in the United States and the community that surrounds this weekend long event that keeps large herds of people coming to the lovely north year after year.

Building the Bootlegger by Alex Horner and Kevin Fitzke – Filmmakers in attendance

5 min + Q&A

Building The Bootlegger shows the 30-day build process of the custom made paddle boards from Minneapolis based, Fitzke Board Co.

From start to finish, Kevin Fitzke hand crafts each board to a precise build standard. His process pays homage to classic Criss Craft wood boat design. Taking age old design elements, Fitzke incorporates them into each board in his own unique process.

Every Step – Directed and produced by Finn Ryan and Dylan Jennings. A production of the Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission – Filmmaker in attendance

8 min + Q&A

In 1989, a small group of athletes set out on a Healing and Solidarity run to bring peace and healing to the communities impacted by conflicts over recently affirmed Ojibwe treaty rights to spear fish in the ceded territories around the central Great Lakes. The run has since evolved to address challenges faced by communities along its route. This is the story of the Healing Circle Run Walk and how it continues to bring healing and solidarity today.
